The Farm and our Productions
Agriturismo Torre del Golfo is perfectly located for a sea holiday in the quietness of nature. Is on the Ionian coast of Calabria, surrounded by 40 hectares of olive groves, only 200 metres from the beach.
Torre del Golfo is part of the Colosimo farm, now run by Serafino (Nino). The farm is stepped in history over two centuries old. The actual produces are citrus fruits, olive oil, tomatoes and other vegetables. All the produce is organic.
Beside the farm productions the family is glad to introduce their guest to the flavours of other typical calabrian products as wines, honey, pecorino and ricotta cheeses, jams, sweets.
Depending on the season, it may be possible to follow the crops productions on the farm or in the surrounding area. Visits to wineries and olive presses are also available.
The Family
The Colosimo family have preserved many rural traditions of Calabria which they readily extend to their guests. Your hosts Lala and Serafino will be sure to make your stay a memorable one. Once you have experienced their hospitality you will find yourself returning to this idyllic retreat. As Lala is originally from the Czech Republic and Ann from England – the family is fluent in both English and Czech.
